The size of the room was excellent, wide and comfortable. Very clean. Quite and intimate. The service was professional and kind. The receptionist noticed that it is my birthday and granted me with free drinks.

It was great being able to cook and use the washing machine while backpacking but still have your own space. This is the perfect place to stay. We felt like we could chat with the other guests but had our privacy too. The instructions were very clear and the place is spotless.

The recently-renovated Meliá Ria is located in the heart of Aveiro, next door to the Aveiro Congress Centre. It features a restaurant, an indoor swimming pool and a spa and wellness centre.

The room was big and comfortable, the personnel super nice and knowledgeable, especially the man who helped us upon check-in (I forgot the name, sorry). Another colleague brought pop-sorn & typical sweets from Portugal: that was a very nice surprise!

Everything! So clean, spacious rooms and fantastic breakfast. Staff were lovely and it was right across from the beach. We had a balcony overlooking garden terrace with restful sound of a little water feature.
