The hotel is located 5 min by car from the airport. Close to the ocean and small beach. My room was spacious, had pool and ocean view. Bathroom with a bath tube was a plus. Hotel has good facilities and I did not have chance to check them all as stayed for one night only. What is really plus is the staff. Super friendly and professional. I received wake up call not to miss my taxi. At 4 am there was taxi waiting for me and breakfast packed carefully in the box. Nice receptionist helped me with to carry my heavy valise to the taxi. i would definitely stay there again.

The design of the hotel is fantastic! The rooms are beautiful and clean, thanks to housekeeping twice a day! Thanks for the little attention on our pillows ;) Charles and his bold collegue (don’t know his name, sorry) at the reception are doing an amazing job. And last but not least Jorge, responsable for breakfast, runs from left to right to make sure everybody is happy and presentation of the food is up to standard. He was very helpfull to us and our baby! Congrats to the entire The Vine staff.

We loved our stay at Golden Residences Hotel. Everything was clean and tidy. The staff was very helpful and the facilities were also top notch! We enjoyed the breakfast spread and the kids had a great time at the indoor heated pool.

This restored Madeiran mansion is located 900 metres from Funchal's Old Town and has scenic views of the sea, the city and the mountains from its own botanical gardens and terraces.

The perfect service was the possibility to park directly in the basement of the hotel. Although the parking area is small and maneuvering a car is sometimes difficult, without this parking it would be a big problem where to leave the car arround the hotel.

Located in the heart of Funchal’s Lido area, this 4-star hotel is a short walk from the city centre and boasts contemporary interiors and an outdoor pool with a terrace.

The best service I have ever experienced. It was my birthday and instead of a room that I booked I got upgraded to the best room that hotel can offer. I got a complementary sparkling wine as well. Highly recommend this hotel.
