Super location, high on a cliff overlooking the town and ocean. An easy walk through the town and to the waterfront. The meals were excellent. For breakfast you can have the buffet or order cooked items from a menu, or both. The dinner menu is outstanding with a wide range of options for fish, meat, and vegetarian, and everything we had was delicious. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Our room had a small balcony with a view overlooking the ocean. The bed was comfortable, and the firm pillows we requested were perfect.

Beautifully furnished and cosy apartment with well-equipped kitchen and spacious bathroom right next to the beach. Pedro was very helpful with solving the unexpected situation we were facing. Paúl do Mar is a good starting point for planning trips around Madeira.

Wauw, what a beautiful guesthouse, for such an affordable price :-) Especially the little terrace with swimming pool is to die for. It has an amazing view! Overall, the guesthouse is very well equipped and clean. It's great that you are allowed to use the kitchen and there is a fridge to store some food. Alicia from the reception was a very friendly and welcoming host, thank you for taking such good care of us. The breakfast was delicious, with freshly baked cake as a real bonus :-) Overall, we had a lovely stay here and we would certainly recommend this place to other travelers and we would love to return some day.
