The museum was intersting. Friendly helpful staff. Well equipped room,. kettle and drink selection welcome. Breakfast was ample with plenty of chocolate. Good restaurants within easy walking distance.

Very nice clean place. Excellent room for that price. Restaurant downstairs is also very good and not expensive, have menu for piligrims. I wish I could have stayed longer.

The staff were exceptional, especially the front desk and the breakfast server. Room was spotless and wifi excellent. just a 5 minute walk to the train station. very easy to find. would definitely stay here again.

Friendliness of the staff from reception, house-keeping and restaurant staff. We have stayed here a number of times over the years and the outdoor terrace with seating, sun loungers and outdoor pool is the perfect area to relax. We visit Viana Do Castelo for family and Axis is in a great location to visit all the areas we need to which are all within walking distance. A lovely hotel.

Great breakfast! They've asked us about our preferences and we were able to select what we would like to have for breakfast, avoiding food waste and meeting our requests, for example, lactose free milk and gluten free bread. The room was clean and comfy, the staff is really nice and polite. Excellent experience!

A wonderful hotel on the waterfront, close to the historic centre. It was also a convenient 7-8 minute walk from the train station and shopping mall. The room was very clean and really comfortable, with a nice view from the window (I enjoyed watching lots of birds flying around). And the staff who handled the check-in, as well as the young lady who worked at the reception and in the breakfast place, were super helpful and full of hospitality. I will definitely be back to stay here again. Thank you so much!
