it was a wonderful experience staying in the hotel. you have to take off the shoes when you enter the property, but the floor is absolutely clean and nothings sticks on your feet.(i am very sensitive at hygiene and the floor was really clean without a single dirt) the breakfast was nice enough and the best thing i liked about this hostel is the helpful staff! she tried to help out everything i requested and always was friendly with smile. this hostel made my travel so much more memorable.

In all our years, continents, experiences, we have never enjoyed as sweet, generous, thoughtful and caring owners and staff. These folks are wonderful and beautiful! We received so much more than a hotel with character, great breakfasts (and cookies and shakes!) Everything was amazing! The girls who work there are just great! So nice, so friendly, so helpful. They helped us book a rafting tour in the north of Chiang Mai and booked a bolt to the airport for us. So nice! The room was really nice and spacious. We did not know that our bathroom was open air (no roof above shower). Of course, this looks great but a bit stressy with insects. The pool is also a welcoming refreshment after a walk around then city. You are at the Tha Pae Gate in 2-3min by foot,, perfect to walk around the old town with no extra transportation necessary.

Wonderful place to stay - we are relatively well travelled, and this is without a doubt one of the nicest places we have been in. The guesthouse is a little paradise in the middle of the city. Staff are very friendly and attentive, offering advice and providing assistance when needed. The room we stayed in was beautifully crafted, peaceful and clean. Breakfast was a treat, serving thai meals and international continental breakfast. I am vegetarian and the staff took the time to ensure this was catered to. We had such a great time at Baan Boo Loo and were sad to leave. Recommend to anyone travelling to Chiang Mai.

    Close to the airport and on the edge of the old city gate this boutique hotel is down an unpromising back street but is a little gem - well priced with lovely and helpful staff (Hello Min!) who are attentive and very helpful booking trips, taxis etc. The room was spacious and really nicely designed, breakfast was good and substantial, there's a small pool and a cocktail bar still finding its feet. The old city is ten minutes walk away and there's an excellent massage shop just up the road.

    Beautifully appointed and decorated teak-house style boutique hotel squeezing every ounce of space from a compact plot. Thoughtfully designed, lush gardens and lots of charming Lanna fixtures and fittings. One massage mix up aside, first class service from all the staff who were polite and efficient throughout. Breakfast was good quality although a little limited in choice. Home made jans were a lovely touch Great location walkable to all main streets in the old town .

    Gorgeous designer hotel, both inside and out. Tasteful, serene and soothing, comfortable, stylish, spacious, beautiful pieces of art throughout the property with classical music piped gently in the background (outside spaces). Restaurant is lovely and our dinner was delicious. We absolutely loved this hotel and will stay there again.
