One of the best hotels we have stayed at. The staff were amazing. The jacuzzi in the deluxe sea view rooms was everything and we enjoyed one every evening. You can rent mopeds at the hotel too which is really convenient and is only 200 baht for the day. The cafe on site does amazing coffees and is air conditioned. The beach is fab and very peaceful unlike other beaches in Thailand. There is normally a Tuk tuk outside the property to go elsewhere.

The culinary experience was exceptional, with a highlight being the unforgettable romantic sunset dinner, ranking among our top 5 meals ever. The attentive staff consistently greeted us warmly and ensured our every need was met. The breathtaking views, refreshing pool, and serene, clean rooms provided the perfect retreat after adventurous days exploring. The hotel is about 30 minutes from the Saladan pier and is conveniently situated within walking distance of restaurants, bars, spas, and even a 7-11. We wholeheartedly recommend The Houben for an unforgettable getaway.

Spacious clean rooms, comfy beds. Outdoor shower room was stuning, very good experience. Very beautiful gardens and plants all over the hotel. We loved staying here.

When I was reading the reviews before my trip, I was a little concerned and would have chosen another hotel if not most of them were sold out. I can say that I don’t regret my stay! The location is on the very north end of the beach. It’s not as busy but still close enough to everything. I stayed in a superior room and loved it! It was very clean, every night there was a turndown service, making sure for a mosquito-free night. The pool is beautiful and I also enjoyed the restaurant.

We stayed 8 days instead of 4 because that place is just amazing. Jon and Sam are lovely hosts but we never rally needed them since everything was just perfect. Big room with good airco, nice shower with enough waterpressure. Good WiFi and television. Nice swimmingpool with enough sunbeds,some in the shade. Supermarket 100m, Danny's restaurant for breakfast and more 120m. You don't rally need a scooter, but they will provide a new one for you if wanted. Thanks for a lovely stay René and Tijna
