The hotel itself is a location- the pool was lovely, Openaire is a little pricey but very good, love the coffee shop in the lobby, and BreakRoom86 was amazing. I'm an LA local, and this hotel is a destination in itself. I booked a room for my bachelorette party, and we didn't even need to leave the property.

One of the nicest beds we have ever slept in. Room was big, cleaned every day and had everything we needed. Loved are view of the Hollywood sign. Great little coffee shop in the hotel. Will definitely be back when visiting again.

The rooms are excellent! We received an upgrade to a larger room despite the hotel being completely full. They accommodated our daughters in an excellent apartment, next to ours. This was the second time we stayed at this hotel and we only have praise for it.

The room and all facilities in the hotel were very clean. We loved the Japanese shopping village nearby.

This is now one of our favourite hotels in the world. Getting to experience a piece of history is a privilege! The location was perfect, straight off Hollywood boulevard and nearby a metro station. Although public transport in LA is almost non-existent, the metro was a perfect way to get to Downton LA without the traffic. Our room was surprisingly spacious, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was excellent and we were thrilled to finally encounter a detachable shower head in the US! We spent two mornings at the pool which is incredible; swimming on an art piece is something we won't forget. We also ordered room service on several occasions as the food was delicious! We hope to be back one day
