A lovely and quiet location, the room had an amazing view of the mountain. The owner Penelope made us so welcome. We were very impressed with the eye for detail! The espresso cups were Illy and not just the cheapest from the supermarket, beautiful flowers in the room. We definitely will be back at Penelope’s!

Fiona was very supportive from the moment I entered the gates till it was time to say goodbye. Location is perfect to rewind and on walking distance to the center of Stellenbosch and the best steak restaurant in the neighbourhood. The location is perfect to explore the wine estates with, again, perfect tips from Fiona. The swimming pool is a nice place to recharge batteries and breakfast was just lovely.
