The modern rooms and apartments have a balcony with lake or mountain views, free WiFi access, a flat-screen satellite TV, and a bathroom. Modern and cozy apartment with great view of the lake. Nice and helpful personnel. Great breakfast. Parking was spacious and covered. Room was clean, had real plants and the bed was really comfortable.

Located right on the shore on Lake Wolfgang, Hotel & Gasthof Fürberg is 3.5 km, approximately a 45-minutes walk, from the centre of St. Gilgen. It offers a private beach and a free bicycle and boat rental. I liked everything! The location is amazing, secluded and calm but also has everything you need like food at the restaurant or 5 minutes away by car at any supermarket. I would definitely come again. Friends' groups, however, shall watch out for the showering situation 😂 it is more like a romantic getaway 😉 but I still had lots of fun with my friend there. Ah the Seilbahn is 5 minutes away aaand Hallstaat is about an hour, although I don't recommend leaving the heaven of this place and going to the touristic horror of Hallstaat.

Hotel Garni Anzengruber is located near the centre of St. Wolfgang in the Salzkammergut, 100 metres from the famous Weißes Rössl and the beautiful pilgrimage church. Absolutely loved this place. Felt like home. :) We loved getting to know the owners and enjoyed a laid-back, nature filled vacation! Breakfast was amazing and the room was beautiful. Would love to return soon.

Dinner is served on the lakeside terrace, in the restaurant, or in the winter garden. The exclusive restaurant, awarded from the Falstaff Gourmet Guide with 2 forks, offers an extensive wine list. Perfect lake getaway. Lawn and deck in the back gave excellent access to the lake. Lovely dining and lounging options, breakfast was a dream. Staff was personable and ever-present to refresh drinks as needed. Looking forward to coming back.

This traditional, family-run hotel enjoys a quiet but central location, offering guests high-quality, comfortable accommodation in the pretty town of St. Gilgen, 300 metres from the shores of the Wolfgangsee lake. This individually designed countryside hotel offers 4-star comfort and features a private bathing place and a lakeside garden. There is also a sun terrace with a hot tub, a sauna and a relaxation room. I really like the room with the view!

A 5-minute walk from the centre of Sankt Wolfgang, Strandhotel Margaretha offers a private beach on the shore of Lake Wolfgang, a lakeside terrace, a bar, a sauna, and a relaxation room. Free WiFi is available. Excellent hotel with its own beach at Wolfgangsee. Very clean, nice view from the balcony, great food, very friendly staff. Would come again!

Haus Mayerhofer is situated in the centre of Sankt Gilgen, a 5-minute walk from Lake Wolfgang and the Zwölferhorn Cable Car. Free WiFi and free parking are available.

All rooms and apartments have cable TV and a bathroom with toiletries. Most have a balcony. We had a wonderful stay at Haus Mayerhofer. It’s located perfectly in the center of St Gilgen and has all the facilities a family of 4 could wish for. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. We would love to come back there some day.
