The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains. Owner was very nice person, offering best sendwich upon our arrival. The room was decorated im very nice Alpine stile, very confortable. Our motorbike was allowed to park in Owner private garden.

This family-run,eco-hotel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen offers great views of the Bavarian Alps, a spacious spa with beauty salon, and free WiFi. It is located in the pedestrian zone, just 600 metres from the train station. The room was exceptionally nice — comfortable bed, amazing shower, and a soothing view from the balcony, especially on a rainy day. We had a short stay to visit Eibsee and Zugspitze, and the hotel's location was convenient for public transportation and close to some great restaurants. The reception staff were also super helpful and welcoming.

The superior Atlas Grand Hotel offers grand, individually furnished rooms with wooden furniture. Some rooms feature a balcony overlooking the Bavarian Alps. The person greeting us was affable, kind and communicative; he immediately put us at ease. Champagne was handed to us upon arrival as well as the offer of a hot towel for our hands and face. The room was gorgeous, you can see the historic information and the brochure with the WiFi gave us more information regarding the history - genuinely fascinating. We paid for rooms facing the mountains and it was definitely worth it, the view was gorgeous and it allowed for us to relax as we had a couple of Radlers and watched the stars come out. 10/10, would recommend. We have already discussed coming back again because of the quality of the hotel. Danke!

Just a 2-minute walk from Oberammergau Train Station, this family-run hotel features a pretty garden terrace, a breakfast room and free on-site parking. It is great base for exploring the Bavarian Alps. Surprisingly enough, the owner was speaking French. He was vey helpful and made us feel like home. The breakfast was excellent with all you want to eat to start the day. The place was only 15 minutes ride from Garmisch where we wanted to go for two days, therefore ideal location. A lot of restaurants are available by walking distance. Overall, a lovely stay. We highly recommend this place !
