19 km from Northern Lights Wildlife Wolf Centre in Golden, Canyon Ridge Lodge features accommodation with access to a hot tub. Featuring free private parking, the 4-star bed and breakfast is 13 km from Golden Golf & Country Club. The hostess is a very nice lady. She gave me lots of recommendations for hiking trails and even lent me the bear spray the other day. She prepared breakfast everyday with many choices. Also there is good coffee for the guests in the sitting room.

    Beautiful location which, whilst remote, is absolutely stunning. Views to be beaten by none. Online photos do not compare to the real thing. The accommodation is lovely. Comfortable and very colourful. Breakfast is delightful. Served to a common table allowing you to meet fellow guests and create friendships. Brandy, the host, is delightful. Happy to spend time chatting and share local knowledge.

    We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, bed comfy and it was nice to be able to watch Netflix. There was plenty of towels in the bathroom and we like the little design made with it. We had a 20% discount at the restaurant downstairs. The food eas delicious.

    One of the best hotels I used in Canada. We had an apartment that unlike most apartments in Canada catered for a couple not for a football team that have a pack of dogs. It had a bedroom with a comfortable double bed, a living room and kitchen, all designed for the discerning traveller. Clean, enough storage space, kitchen has a good cooker, coffee machine, fridge freezer, microwave. Better value for money than most other hotels in Canada. Did not smell of dog like the other dog friendly places.
