Hotel Spalentor is located opposite the Botanic Gardens, a 5-minute walk from the Old Town of Basel and the University, and offers free bicycles, free WiFi, a fitness area and a quiet garden with a chestnut tree. We were made to feel very welcome, for travellers this was so great. Breakfast was exceptional. Thank you very much.

Newly built in 2014, The Passage in Basel is a centrally located design hotel featuring a sauna, a fitness centre, free WiFi access and air-conditioned rooms. The Basel SBB Train Station is 850 metres away. Very bright, clean and modern rooms. Comfortable bed, didn't hear any noise from the street or neighbouring rooms. The breakfast was delicious, the stuff was very friendly and fast. Conveniently located about 15 mins from airport and next to the old center. Basel card included in the room stay is a big plus. The hotel is not huge which makes the stay so much more pleasant. Good air-conditioning.

The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available.

The restaurant Alexander serves Swiss specialties and offers different Pizza varieties and delivery service in the hotel. Staff was friendly, room was clean, breakfast was fine :)

You will be enchanted by the unique atmosphere of this stylish hotel. They offered a bottle of prosecco for my daughter’s 18th birthday. Helped with the charge for our parking when we forgot the key and had to leave it 2 nights!

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. The accommodation enjoys a central and very quiet location close to the university and the cantonal hospital. The hotel has a small garden and free WLAN. Excellent location. The staff was very helpful and kind. I recommend the place. The room was clean and equipped with everything I needed.

The week I booked the price was insanely good for single person and the room has everything needed and super clean and functioning perfectly. The bed was very comfortable.What's amazing is that I checked in at around 9am! I was hoping to leave my luggage there but the reception said my room was ready. Amazing!

The Basel Exhibition Centre can be reached by tram within 10 minutes. Super convenient to the train station. The room was very comfortable, and staff were wonderful

The Hotel Krafft Basel and restaurant can be found in the heart of the city, right on the bank of the Rhine river with its Mediterranean-style promenade. Laptops with wireless internet access and printers are available for free. Great property - well laid out room (no fridge). Extremely comfortable and modern. Excellent view of the river. Tram was a 2 minute walk. We ate at the outdoor restaurant on one evening g and the food was excellent and service outstanding.
