Everything was perfectly designed and well thought out from the modern architecture and interiors to the small gardens and the excellent breakfast. Very comfortable and quiet, with great value for money. The croissants and bread were outstanding! Location is also a big plus: close to the city center, the lake and, above all, the train station. A perfect stay.

The hotel was about a ten minute walk from the railway station and the lake. It had a wonderful old world feel to it. The staff were most helpful and friendly. A superb breakfast was served.

Our room was spacious and comfy and the balcony big enough to enjoy the view with a cup of coffee. The staff very friendly and the breakfast very rich and delicious. Also here you could choose to eat inside or outside, on the lake shore, absolutely amazing! It is 5 min walk from the bus stop and in the city centre so walking distance to practically everything. The port is not even 50 m away. Would recommend it!

The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. It offers a park with a pool, free WiFi and a limited number of free parking spaces. Perfect terrasse! Tajea coffee or your breakfast there. Nice place, friendly professional staff, very practical placement. Just walk from train station. Do not use steps, just walk with your luggage alongside and after a little bit more up. easy with luggage.
