The entire property was amazing! We had a 4th floor suite with a balcony with an incredible view of The Matterhorn. The beds were extremely comfortable. The spa was awesome and included in the rate. The mini bar was nice as was the complimentary water provided. The hotel also provided robes, slippers and a spa bag for your convenience and comfort while enjoying the spa facilities. The staff were great and very friendly. We loved the included breakfast which was a fantastic selection. The smokers lounge was a nice touch and they have a small but great selection of cigars.

The Sunnegga Funicular Railway is less than 700 metres away and hiking paths start nearby. While the hotel is small, it has the necessary provisions. In particular the front garden with its beautiful flowers is so spectacular and attractive that I noted almost all passers-by had stopped to take photos. The hotel operator couple is so nice and helpful. They are always willing to advice you on the most appropriate itinerary and route for hiking and going up to Matterhorn/Gorergon.

The Sunnegga Express funicular and the Zermatt Train Station are 500 metres away. the view is superb. staff are very easy to communicate and helpful. the room is clean quite spacious.

V here really stands for very very extraordinary. The most creative and unique hotel i've ever been. The room is really stylish yet cozy and very clean. Spa is incredible experience. View is also amazing. You can clearly see Matthehorn.

Travelling from Canada so making our money stretch was important. Great value, super clean and spacious rooms! It's right beside the Gornergrat tram and the bus stop (free) to the other lifts is just outside and a quick 5 min ride. They're close to Bayard where we rented and got 10% off with them. Having a hotel right by the train station was super convenient and Zermatt is such a small town so very easy to explore. Sauna (by reservation, just ask front desk) at the end of a ski day was a nice bonus. Good variety for breakfast.
