Located on the banks of Lake Zug in the old town of Zug, Hotel Löwen am See offers air-conditioned rooms, panoramic lake and mountain views, and a restaurant.

The modern rooms feature a laptop-size safe, a minibar, cable TV, and a bathroom with hairdryer. We booked the hotel for a single day stop in Zug. Very well located in city center! We were lucky to receive room 206 - which was a corner room overlooking the lake in the most perfect angle. Rooms are quite spacious, comfy. Breakfast was good, too.

Just a 7-minute walk from the centre of Zug and Zug Train Station, the family-run Hotel Zugertor offers 36 comfortable, modern and bright rooms.

The modern, non-smoking rooms feature air conditioning, a flat-screen satellite TV, a safe, a bathroom with a hairdryer, and a small refrigerator with a free WiFi and bottle of water. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel location a 10min walk max from station. Helped us with the free local transport offer with buses every 15mins. Also free Lake Cruise which we took up (£40 per person otherwise). Just remember every journey (boat or bus for example) you take on the app you have to select which family members are travelling on that particular occasion - each person needs a virtual ticket for each trip. Hotel had great air con , spotlessly clean, superb breakfast included, and triple glazing so no road noise when windows shut. Lovely and breathtaking area - went to harbour a few times which is stunning. Obviously expensive area in general as you would expect but well worth it. Local shopping centre was great too. Went up Mount Pilatus - great experience on the train and cable cars.
