The service and housekeeping was on point as you would expect from a Mandarin Oriental, bringing attention to every detail. The pool area transports you to a resort atmosphere, forgetting you are in the middle of the city. The restaurant Matsuri was phenomenal, we ate there on multiple occasion because we wanted to explore all that the menu could offer. A short ballet rendition of the Nutcracker was organized in the lobby around Christmas time which lifted everyone's spirit. Will come back whenever visiting Santiago.

Breakfast was self serve buffet includes continental, fruit, juices, scrambled eggs, bacon or ham, simple but good. In the common kitchen, there is a filtered water machine to fill your own water bottle and a coffee machine that you can select the type of coffee to make. The lounge seating and garden areas are charming and homey. We had a free room upgrade to a suite which improved the value for money.
