Everything and loved the free pasta and rice if you are in a budget. Equally, great restauraunts, the beach and shops are nearby. Host was lovely and so were her 2 dogs.

The staff was absolutely lovely and so helpful. The property is beautiful, the garden is stunning and you can swim without going out of the property. It’s better to have a car for you stay otherwise it will take 25 min to walk to Cahuita.

The cabins are built and furnished to a high standard, each has a private veranda overlooking the beautiful garden but somehow not overlooking adjacent cabins. Clever design. The breakfast was really generous and high quality. And there's "proper" plumbing! Daniele and Valentina have created a beautiful and peaceful place just a short walk from Cahuita town, beach and the National Park. Highly recommended

The house has an unusually modern and elegant design. The open design is ideal for the hot climate. You are surrounded by nature all the time. Only the bedrooms are lockable and equipped with air conditioning and very good beds. The pool is fantastic. Rarely have we experienced such a pleasant lighting concept in a house & garden in Costa Rica. Nature is very close: you can see lots of birds, butterflies and monkeys. We also liked the fact that it was only 10 minutes to a beach where you could swim safely. This house is highly recommended!

Location, design

Charming and thoughtfully designed hotel, spotlessly clean. Roberta, the super-efficient and always helpful owner/host, runs the place with a passion that's exceptional. Excellent value for money.

Such a unique property, fabulous design and lovely setting. Our jaws all dropped as we arrived. We loved being surrounded by nature and having bats roosting with us. The living areas open to the environment then the bedrooms more sealed off, even with aircon made the Robinson Crusoe experience very comfortable. The hammocks were so relaxing in the evening. The beach and fab Reggae bar is really close and breakfast at Bridgett's was great. We strolled into town and to the nature park.

Wow, this place was beautiful with stunning gardens & a lovely pool to relax by. We were made so welcome by Marise & Pierre and they showed us lots of wildlife to spot in the garden. We saw Agouti, poison dart frogs, sloths, crabs, iguanas and lots of birds in the garden! Our room (3) was comfortable & had a patio to sit out on. the property was opposite the beach and we had a nice walk spotting howler monkeys & sloths on the way into town.

A small hotel with everything you need and more besides. Absolutely spotless, with staff continually sweeping up dead leaves and generally cleaning. The setting was stunning and it was wonderful sitting by the sea for our evening meal (10 out of 10 for that too). The WiFi was consistently good and the breakfast was lovely, freshly cooked to order. We were made to feel very welcome. Our room, as most rooms, was by the small swimming pool which was also immaculately kept. An added bonus was the sloths and monkeys in the grounds!
