This 19th-century hotel is located in the centre of beautiful Mont Dore, and makes a wonderful base for exploring the Massif du Sancy. During winter, a free shuttle can take you to the nearest ski slopes. The thermal centre is just 200 metres away. I loved everything about our stay at this hotel. The attention to détail, the cleanliness, the staff and location were all outstanding. Really looking forward to going back for another weekend break. Highly recommend a visit.

The apartment was clean, had everything we needed, and very comfortable. The owners were very friendly and welcoming.

Guest rooms are soundproofed and include a flat-screen TV with satellite. Some of them have a balcony with views of the street or the patio The hotel was centrally situated with plenty of on street parking close by. It was immaculately clean and our room was really quiet, very comfortable and had a lovely bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the added bonus was the beautiful piano playing by one of the staff! We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel but the breakfast room looked lovely. It was our first visit to Vichy and we had a lovely walk around the old part (which is being extensively renovated) and along the river which was beautiful.
