Aggarthi Bed and Breakfast is a wonderful place to stay. Our room and bed were very comfortable. Diane, our host, is amazing. Diane made sure we were well taken care of. She prepares a great breakfast each morning and introduces the other guests at breakfast. It was nice talking to the other guests and their experiences in the Normandie area. As a plus, we enjoyed Picasso, Diane’s rescue dog! We enjoyed our stay, and if ever back in Bayeux, will stay again!

Arriving late from an afternoon ferry from the UK, it was good to find a very quiet place. Staff were helpful without being intrusive. Great location for getting on to my onward journey. Decent sized rooms, tea and coffee making facilities welcome and not always common in France. Super clean.
Courseulles-sur-Mer
This residence consists of 2 properties located in the Normandy town of Courseulles-sur-Mer. La Cremaillere Hôtel-Restaurant is a seafront residence and La Crémaillère Côté Jardin is situated 100 metres from the beach. Free WiFi is available throughout. This place is amazing and is truly underrated (as per reviews). Location is simply wonderful. Houses are nice, cozy, two floors, close to the sea no matter in which building your room is (had garden house). Our room was very nice, good noise isolation, had terrace and bed was very comfortable. No issue there for us as there was no reception in the building we stayed as reception is easy to get to - it is short walking distance. When registering we were offered to have a booking at the restaurant- very thoughtful and nice. We also decided to extend our stay and we were very happy how the request was handled starting from very prompt communication and ending with our luggages being handled by a staff. Great service! Breakfast was good. The only thing I missed was hot meal option e.g., pancakes; scrambled eggs or similar but that could be more cultural thing so not much of a deal breaker. Coffee was very tasty and very tasty pastries. Of course, must try the restaurant! Great staff and very tasty food, good vibe!

It was a haven of peace. The owners were very welcoming , and they had got it just right with the b and b. Tastefully designed, everything you needed, lovely breakfast. Direct access into the garden. A short 6 minute bike ride to the centre
Location perfect. All rooms with great design and comfort.During the night time no lights.
A very beautiful place, with stunning garden - lovely sanctuary after a long drive. Family suite was a lovely space, although the small bathroom with little shower area might struggle if you stayed longer than a night or two. Location excellent, loads to do, very pretty village, plenty of facilities and eateries just a short drive away. Breakfast was very stylish and delicious. Proprietors welcoming.
The house and its grounds are absolutely stunning. The room was large and well-appointed, stylishly decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting outside in te garden, in the company of the dog (Charlie) and the peacock (Monsieur). However, the best part of our stay was chatting with Madame Caillau. She is a lovely person, with a kind, warm soul. She made our stay all the more special. I highly recommend you stay at the Manoir du Pont Senot.
Very clean and comfortable, perfect for a one night stay on our trip before getting the ferry back to Ireland. We had a room with a gorgeous view over Caen. Very modern design and friendly staff. I requested an extra blanket and received it directly to the room within a few minutes. Excellent service.
We had a wonderful time. The Chateau Cote de Nacre is a truly magical place. As a designer I can really appreciate all details and quality of the interiors. My boys were captivated by the friendliness of the animals and were looking forward feeding them every morning and evening during our stay. This is one of the best properties we have stayed in. We have memories to treasure. We will miss the views of the garden from our dining table.
I loved our hostess Severine. She made our stay incredible. The building is old but is beautifully designed and decorated. Very clean. Our bed was very comfortable and our room was lovely. The view of the Cathedral from our bathroom window at night was magical. Breakfast was excellent.
Loved the bathroom, and spacious room with a lovely welcome. I wish I had the opportunity to dine in the restaurant, but perhaps in the future, they'll have a vegan menu, but this is a fantastic stay in the surprisingly vibrant city of Caen. The room interior design seemed a little under 5-star standards but everything was clean and neat.
