If you don't want to have your room made, just hang a card outside the door the previous night. Nobody will enter in the room. We chose9 it also because we have a dog and didn't want to have the maid enter the room while we were having breakfast.

Hotel Select, located in the heart of Beaulieu-sur-Mer, is a small family hotel situated by a Provencal marketplace.

The property has 19 guest rooms, certain featuring panoramic mountain views or views of the market square. I loved this town and hotel! It was small, but very charming and well decorated. I also liked that it had a small elevator to carry the luggage up and down. The staff were very kind. The room was small, but it had everything I needed, and I used the dining area after the breakfast time to work a little bit. The smell of bake goods others mentioned wasn't a problem for me, I even enjoyed it, lol. Just in front there's a daily market with fresh fruit, which I visited every day and the train is just 5-min away by walking to head to Nice or the nearby towns. There's nice beaches around. I would definitely come back!

We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!
