Situated in the quiet hamlet of Littley Green in the heart of the Essex countryside, The Compasses is a Victorian Pub steeped in history and tradition. With free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi access for all guests, it also offers a bar and a restaurant. Everything. Last minute booking (day before) nad we were delighted. Gorgeous little spot. The pub was fab, the meal was great. Room had everything - plenty of space and a comfy bed - all we needed for one night as we were touring the area. Have stayed in 15+ place over the UK in the past month and this was the best in terms of value and how nice it was.

Very cosy and welcoming hotel…… the owner and staff are absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend.

Situated 25 minutes’ drive from London Stansted Airport, the Holiday Inn Express Harlow is enclosed by various shopping and leisure facilities. Harlow Town rail station is a 20-minute walk away and offers regular services to London Liverpool Street station and Cambridge. There is also an adjacent bus station. Extremely friendly staff especially at the checkin counters .

Holiday Inn Express Stansted Airport offers a paid shuttle service to and from the airport terminal. It was easy to get to the hotel from the airport. The hotel bus leaves from Coach station (Bay 19) every 30 min. You just pay £4 for the driver (cash or card) and in 15 min you are at the hotel. Quick check in, comfortable and clean room with a tea pot and tea. Comfortable bed to sleep. Breakfast starts from 4am (cold) and 6am (hot). But even at 5am I enjoyed vegan granola with raisins and added berry compote to it.

Guests can enjoy stylish, non-smoking, modern rooms featuring free Wi-Fi and a fully equipped gym. The property is very clean ,comfortable, good restaurants but most of all great location for an early flight.. literally a 5 min walk! Would recommend
