The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The location is perfect — close to shops, restaurants and public transport, yet quiet at night. Breakfast was fresh and varied. A pleasant, comfortable hotel with a warm atmosphere. I’d happily stay again.

The hotel has some of the best on-site facilities in the area, half of the rooms with hot tubs on private balconies, an on-site spa with poolside seating and a bar, stylish restaurant and cocktail bar, bike hire, wakesurfing and paddleboading. Lovely room with view of Lake Windermere. Excellent breakfast. Pub evening meal was great. Second time we have stayed at this hotel and would definitely stay again.

With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake District scenery. Location was amazing and great for exploring. Brett and Anthea were delightful and made us feel so welcome.. The food was amazing with hearty portions and the accommodation was quaint and cosy. The scenery is overwhelmingly beautiful. We were so blessed with the beautiful weather and took advantage of exploring Keswick and surrounds.

It's just one short block from all of the shops in Windermere, and a great hike to the lookout point for the views. Hop in your car for a short journey to the lake and more shops and restaurants. Beautifully decorated, quiet, and inviting for a night in with a glass of wine in the lobby. The breakfast was lovely too, and the staff were very friendly. Loved all of the details in the room and the property. If you're interested in less touristy food, it's only a 30 minute drive to Ambleside, which has some fantastic restaurants and less tourists.

It is located 16 km from Lake Windermere and offers a housekeeping service. Muncaster Castle is 35 km from the bed and breakfast and Buttermere is 45 km away. Everything- from the room to the bath to the breakfast, everything was amazing. We had a wonderful time during the easter holidays. Highly recommend staying in the Merlot King room.
