This is the second occasion we stopped at The Rooms overnight, great very closed to the theatre where we were attending a show. The owners of the property are very welcoming, a great advantage one can check in early from 2pm, central to shops and restaurants too.

Free WiFi and free parking are offered. The glamping pod was clean and warm. The bed was comfy and the staff were really lovely and helpful.

Each elegantly designed room at The Spread Eagle features individual furnishings, and some enjoy views of the nearby River Ribble. All have en suite or private bathroom facilities with complementary toiletries, as well as a TV, telephone and tea and coffee facilities. Great food, both at dinner and breakfast. Home made mini Eccles cakes instead of biscuits on the tea tray in the room made us smile, and they were yummy! Staff were great too. And a very dog-friendly place.

Sue made our stay most comfortable. She was warm and friendly and couldn’t do enough to ensure our comfort on 2 very cold nights. Our room was spacious, sparkling clean, beautifully and tastefully decorated and very quiet. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of it! Meeting Sue’s three well behaved dogs was extra special too!!! My daughter just fell in love with all three but especially Poppy ❤️
