The reviews don’t lie: David is a legend! Truly had the best day being guided around Semuc Champey by David who grew up exploring the area and knows the best spots to show you. The in-house tienda, shuttle booking and affordable restaurant made our stay so easy and relaxing. So happy to stay with this lovely family!

Perfect location, lovely place, stunning little internal garden, kind staff very flexible and accommodating, very good breakfast included.

Lovely common area with affordable drinks in the evening and a refreshing dip into the river during day rimes, laundry service and warm water in the showers. Construction is going on but hardly disturbing as you spend most of the time at the river and common area and its away from the street, so good night sleep too. Great tour to semuc, definitely worth the money and we hardly ever jump on tour offers.

Beautiful hostel with stunning scenery! The pool was fantatsic with an amazing view. The dorm room was comfortable and clean, obviously insects are to be expected when staying in the jungle but mosquito nets were provided and kept them away whilst sleeping. The food was great and relatively cheap and the tour to semuc champay with the hostel was so much fun, would 100% recommend. Hostel also provides free tuc tucs to and from shuttle drop off which was ideal. Thank you for a gorgeous stay 😍
