Previously owned by the Maharaj of Madri and restored to its current state, Madri Haveli features elegant rooms with stained glass windows. The area around it is conserved for tourist heritage walk. Situated on a hill, it has a rooftop restaurant and terrace offering city and lake views. Everybody that comes to Udaipur should book this hotel. the staff were incredibly helpful and really nice. They helped us hire a Tuk Tuk for the entire time we were there and it was just so easy to contact the driver whenever we wanted to go somewhere and know that we were getting a fair price. The air conditioning unit in the room was very powerful and made it very comfortable to sleep in considering we were there in peak summer. Bedrooms were incredibly beautiful, authentic and traditional feel. The bed was very comfortable, and the location was right in the center of the old city with a view of the lake as well as being close to the city Palace. Is there anything I didn’t like?

Overall it was a great stay, I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Jaisalmer.

A heritage hotel, Alsisar Haveli is located in the heart of pink city Jaipur, 10 km from the Amber Fort. Featuring traditional Rajput-ian architecture, the hotel offers an outdoor pool, a restaurant and a spa and wellness centre. I really enjoyed the architecture and stunning interior design. The bedrooms were extremely spacious and the beds were the most comfortable.
