It has a rich pink color, and our room was spacious and comfortable. The pool has a good size, and the restaurant serves good Indian food. Built over 175 years ago within the city of Jaipur as the royal family manor, Samode Haveli reflects the style and elegance of the royals. A special feature of the Haveli is the elephant ramp. It offers an outdoor swimming pool and a spa and wellness centre. The pool and restaurant/bar were outstanding, as were the staff. Can't say enough about the beautiful decor--the antique photos and the artworks. We took an early morning walking tour of some of the key markets and temples which was arranged by the hotel and it was epic--a great way to be introduced to Jaipur and a lifetime memory for sure!

They also organise lots of activities which are super cool (we joined the sunrise scooter tour and it was awesome) Highly recommend!

Hot/cold shower facilities are included in the en suite bathroom. This is the best hotel in Jaisalmer and possibly in all our trip. Every detail is thought of for good vibes, comfort and beauty. The interior design is to die for. The service is impeccable and the hotel manager is sweet, helpful and caring. The restaurant serves excellent food and very reasonably priced. And the location is perfect. Truly a 5 star experience!

It also offers 24-hour room service and complimentary WiFi access. Great location for exploring the old city. Excellent food, local cuisine, and exceptional service from the staff in all venues. Our room had a beautiful view of the fort, and the roof top restaurants and bars were terrific. The hotel organized a guide for us, and we had a wonderful tour of the city.

Previously owned by the Maharaj of Madri and restored to its current state, Madri Haveli features elegant rooms with stained glass windows. The area around it is conserved for tourist heritage walk. Situated on a hill, it has a rooftop restaurant and terrace offering city and lake views. We loved everything about our stay…the location right in the Center of Udaipur means most things are walkable (a rarity in India!). The property itself is >300 yrs old and full of character, sensational lighting, colours, and above all wonderful staff members…breakfast and dinner is excellent, and their smile goes a long way. GM Sunil is very chatty, and kindly showed us around his recently opened 2nd property Madri Haveli Retreat (right next door)…he also let us use the pool to cool down from the afternoon heat, which we appreciated a lot. Come and stay here, you will not be disappointed, splash out on the suite, you won’t regret it, it’s stunning at every time of the day.
