All rooms have air conditioning, satellite TV, and a minibar. Great hotel, it is theoretically 3* but should be 4* in my opinion. Beautifully located among the wineries with spectacular view on San Gimignone and surrounding hills. Great restaurant with very good meat selection as well as local wines. We’d love to stay longer!

Dating back to the 11th century, Leon Bianco is in Piazza della Cisterna, one of San Gimignano’s main squares. During summer, breakfast is served on the quiet, relaxing terrace.

Rooms have original features such as wood-beamed ceilings and modern amenities including air conditioning and satellite TV. WiFi access is available in the lobby and rooms. There is also an internet point. The hotel is so central and even though it is in the thick of all the action it is so quiet and peaceful. We had a quadruple room with a double bed and two single beds which worked perfectly for our teenagers. The breakfast was brilliant and even nicer that it could be eaten on the terrace. It’s in the centre of the ZTL so you can’t drive there but we parked in car park P2 and walked through (a bit embarrassing for the kids dragging their cases through the tourists!)
