It's by far the best hotel experience we had in Japan, after being in 4-5 other cities. The lounge facing ocean with sunset view is amazing, and the rooftop bath in the night overlooking the bay and the Tori is intimate and relaxing, after the crowd is gone. The staff is extremely caring and offered personalized advice to visit and dine out. We were late for check-out because of some delay with the ropeway, but the staff really cared about our wellbeing. Cherry on top, beds in Japan are usually very hard but this hotel gave me the best sleep!

Luggage storage is free while dry cleaning and photocopying services are also available at a surcharge. A perfect location for those who intend to cycle along the Simanami Cycling Road, both the bike rental shop and the ferry terminal are just next to the hotel.

The air-conditioned rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Each comes with a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle with green tea bags. All rooms have a private toilet, and some have shared bathroom facilities. The location was excellent, the staff were really friendly and the breakfast was great and such good value for money. The rooms were very comfortable and we had a gorgeous window view! The staff kept our bags for us before check in and they had already taken them to our room when we came back.

The room was larger than the average Japanese hotel room. Very nice communal area with tables and sofas. Would certainly recommend it.

Stunning views from the (many) restaurants on the high floors (23rd to 20th). Great staff. Very well equipped also.

Hotel Granvia Hiroshima is directly connected to the JR Hiroshima Shinkansen (Bullet Train) Station. This Michelin 3-star rated hotel offers modern accommodation with 6 restaurants, massage services and rooms with free Wi-Fi. it was the perfect location.... right next to the train station with all amenities, restaurants and others that one is expecting. also as it was raining, the perfect spot to move around without getting wet. Besides, the entire staff (especially Selim) were just so friendly and helpful..

Reopened in April 2014 after renovations, Miyajima Morinoyado offers comfortable guest rooms and a spacious public bath. It is a 1-minute walk to Miyajima Aquarium and a 15-minute to Itsukushima Shrine. Great location and personnel, the traditional onsen was great
