Staff went above and beyond to help and make our stay comfortable, even finding and accompanying me to a clinic to help translate when I needed to see a doctor. I am so grateful for their hospitality!

Opening in March 2014, Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Shinmachi Bettei offers accommodations with a modern yet traditional décor. Free Wi-Fi is available at the entire property and guests can refresh in the public bath. Shijo and Karasuma Station are both within a 10-minute walk away. One of our best stay in Japan. Location works for us, minutes of walk to the subway station and bus station depending on your go. Facilities are great, from lobby, onsen, to our room. Really enjoy our stay. Staffs are super helpful, fluent in multi-lingual and super helpful to foreign travellers like us throughout arranging our luggage delivery to the next hotel. I would come back for Mitsui!

To date, this is the best experience we have had in Japan.

This non-smoking hotel provides in-room massages service can be arranged. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the premises. Great Ryokan very conveniently located in Kyoto! It was a very luxurious and relaxing feeling with nice extras touches such as printed photographs, free (and amazing!) tea ceremony and a nice short evening concert. I've seen tea ceremonies being sold for €200 or above elsewhere, so this is a good thing to include in the price. It's a short but very dignified event. The room and the beds were very comfortable and the onsen was great. We especially appreciated the small gifts for our honeymoon, thanks so much!

Ryokan Kyoraku is centrally located just a 7-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station's north exit. It's a 3-minute walk from Higashi Hongan-ji temple. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

All rooms have air conditioning and an LCD TV, while some are fitted with an attached bathroom. Everything was perfect. Location, the premises, the staff, the room. I ve never been in a place with such an aura. It was a unique experience. I already miss my room..
