We recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming villa with our family, and it was an unforgettable experience. The villa featured two spacious and well-appointed rooms, each exuding a delightful Colonial style that transported us to a different era. The two common areas provided ample space for relaxation and family activities, adding to the villa's welcoming atmosphere. One of the highlights of our stay was the amazing breakfast served each morning. The variety and quality of the food were exceptional, making every breakfast a delightful start to our day. Additionally, the villa was impeccably clean, which made our stay all the more comfortable and enjoyable.

You will find a kettle in the room. All rooms have a private bathroom. For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hair dryer. Wonderful hotel! Authentic colonial atmosphere with old doors, old windows and some touches of modern style (lamps, chairs in the restaurant). All matches very well - really a gorgeous piece of interior architecture. Friendly, caring and attentive staff! Huge room , relaxed atmosphere, great breakfast - you can choose continental or Sri Lanken and get it served. We had Sri Lanken and it was excellent. You can also choose in which of their lovely seating areas you want to be served. So much individuality Treatment was like in a 5 star hotel ! Would have loved to stay much longer! Hotel itself would be a reason to come back to Galle

Close to a clean and comfortable beach for swimming, a bus station, a railway station, shops, markets, and cafes. Everything you need is within walking distance from the house. The house itself and the surrounding area are very tidy , beautiful and clean. The owner, his family, and the assistant are friendly and pleasant people. There are tables and chairs on the premises, perfect for relaxing. There's also a shared living room where we had interesting conversations with the owner. Additionally, we were taught how to cook jackfruit and banana flower. After cooking, we enjoyed a communal dinner. The breakfasts are fresh and delicious. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with everything necessary provided. It’s convenient for both short stays and longer-term visits. Thank you for the hospitality. We highly recommend this place for staying in Hikkaduwa!

The owner and her team do everything to make you feel comfortable. If you expect sound-proof rooms, thick sink-in carpets or whiskey-tasting: this is definitely not your accommodation. If you can appreciate nice, home-made (organic) food, being part of local nature and culture, well-equipped rooms (fan, no a/c) this hide-away could enrich body, soul and positive feelings about Sri Lanka.

Ideally set in the centre of Galle, Fort de 19 Villa - Galle Fort features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and free private parking. The property is close to Galle Light house, Galle Fort and Galle Fort National Museum. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk and full-day security for guests. We really enjoyed our time here. They had a good parking area for our rented tuktuk. The room was great but what really stood out was the rooftop patio. It was nice seating up there for sunset. The family were very kind. Good location with everything in walking distance. It was quiet at night. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotless!

Adjacent to Unawatuna Beach, Sergent House is set in a boutique villa showcasing colonial architecture and originating in the 1800's. It is a three minute walk to the Unawatuna Beach and a 15 minute drive away from the historic 16th - 17th century Galle Fort. The best place we have stayed during our travels throughout the world. Beautiful and comfortable room with own terrace, nice pool, lovely breakfast and attentive staff. Own part of a beach area with hammocks and beach chairs (the actual beach is not private, but only used by a few). Highly recommended

Sri Lankan architectural master piece Dunes Unawatuna hotel is an eco friendly boutique hotel near the beautiful Unawatuna beach(100 meters/ 5min walk away).

Dunes has 10 garden-view ac rooms and a 2 bed room ac cottage in its peaceful and tranquil setting. All!! The hotel is in the middle of the town, just 100m away from the beach but without the inconvenience of being in a busy place. It is closed within a private yard full of trees with lots of animals popping around like monkeys, chipmunks and birds which makes you feel like being in nature. The hotel is very sustainable, gel and shampoo and filtered water in reusable containers. Breakfast was outstanding and the bedroom was big and still super cozy.
