We loved the family tent, which is a small appartment in itself, with a lot of space (parent’s room, kid’s room, living room, big modern bathroom). It was very clean. Breakfast was generous and delicious. The set up for pool and meals is gorgeous.

A cable TV is available in the lobby. It's a lovely place, cozy and stunning. We were pleasantly surprised upon arriving at this hotel - it's an old house with a charming colonial style. We wished we have extended our stay. Shenani is very kind and a superb cook! The breakfast is delicious, from egg hoppers to homemade jams.

It provides free Wi-Fi access throughout the property. Staff looked after us really well. Loved the hotel tuk tuk and Kandy Tours - with Austin. Definitely use this as more reliable and better than other tuk tuk. Continental breakfast was good. Chef makes delicious Sri Lankan food! This was in a great central location.

The property is a 15-minute drive from the Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya. Kandy railway and bus stations are about 1 km away, while The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is 40 km away. It is 800 metres away from Kandyan Cultural Centre and 5 km from the Tea Museum. We had two rooms. In one room, we had a 4 year old. There was no charge for him, but an extra bed was provided. Rooms were super clean. Very nice upgraded bathrooms. The host was so helpful, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good...standard fare with a nice fruit plate. The location was great. We walked to town along the lake. For families, there is a big playground right at the bottom of the hill, on the way to the lake and town.
