It’s a gorgeous location with a stunning view from the balcony. Hotel staff incredibly friendly. The room was spacious and clean.

Great location for visiting Polonnaruwa. Really helpful staff and lovely to have a pool to cool down in after our tour of the ancient city.

We had a lovely stay at Tishan thanks to the wonderful staff. Excellent location away from the busy road but still very close to the ancient city of Pollonawura. The absolute highlight is the (disco)pool, which our kids thoroughly enjoyed. Good breakfast, four-star hotel-like service and nice rooms. We would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend if its in your budget. Pool was fantastic. General ambiance of the hotel was lovely. The staff were fantastic, we had a tour of the property on arrival and were shown the queens suit (with the golden bathtub!) Which we really enjoyed. My aircon didn't work in my room and I was immediately upgraded to a deluxe suite (very nice!). Breakfast was good as well. Location was ideal, very close to the ruins and beautifully located over the lake.

This is a gem! it’s architecturally interesting, beautifully designed with glorious views. The chalets were comfortable, had marvellous inside/outside bathrooms and were tastefully furnished. The staff were attentive and welcoming and food was delicious.

This luxurious boutique hotel is beautifully positioned on a serene lake. Well situated for visiting the Polonnaruwa ruins with high standards of comfort and service. A very satisfying choice for discerning guests.
