The room comes in reasonable size and has everything necessary to make a good stay. It’s not a typical hotel with all amenities but I love what they offer especially how they try to be environmentally friendly.

Home Hotel Folketeateret’s rooms feature modern décor and a flat-screen TV. Some include a seating area. Free WiFi internet is available throughout the hotel. Comfortable beds. Rituals products (liquid soap and shower gel) are available in the bathroom. Our room had a view of the courtyard, so it was quiet. Excellent location, 3-4 minutes walk to the Oslo Cathedral, 5 minutes to the central station and 10 minutes to the Opera house. Tram and bus stop in front of the hotel. Tasty food. Breakfast is more varied and has more choices. For dinner there is a little less choice and mostly 4-5 different salads, main course and soup. It was more than enough for us. The dinner menu changed every day. In the afternoon, they serve coffee, tea and cakes - fika. A coffee and tea machine is available 24 hours a day in the lobby. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.
