Tongariro alpine Crossing 50 km away, for those in for fishing Tongariro river is just behind the corner as you simply get out from the lodge there.

Hush Boutique Accommodation is located in Coromandel Town opposite Driving Creek Railway and Pottery, only 5 minutes' from the town centre and a short drive to Wyuna Bay, Shelley Beach, Oamaru. Hugh was wonderful! He gave us all kinds of great recommendations on what to see and do. Loved chatting with him. The suite was soo nice - cute, very private, really spotless. Makes good use of the outdoor space as well. Feels as though you are spending time in the forest. One of our nicest spots to stay - Highly recommend it!

Featuring quiet street views, Cathedral Cove Apartment offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 500 metres from Hahei Beach. Housed in a building dating from 2010, this apartment is 1.3 km from the Cathedral Cove. The apartment also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. The hosts, Ray and Ngairene, were wonderful. A charming and very helpful couple. Ngairene met me on arrival and gave me a tour of the apartment. On two occasions, my hosts gave me a ride to the Cathedral Cove trailhead. There is no parking at the trailhead; drop-off only, and this saved me a long, steep hike before tackling the trail. I was allowed to use their laundry facilities, which was much appreciated. Anyone visiting the Hahei area could do no better than to stay at the Cathedral Cove Apartment. Kia Ora!

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, The Nunnery is a recently renovated guest house situated in Te Aroha, 50 km from University of Waikato. This guest house features air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. The guest house has family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. Lovely, comfortable beds and carpeted floors. All the basic necessities provided ie. Towel, shampoo and soap. Other guests there were friendly and nice to spend time with in the communal area which had games and books to use. Tairua Shores Motel enjoys a harbourside location close to the Tairua Wharf, and it takes 2 minutes to drive to the town center or a 10-minute beach walk overlooking Mt Paku and Tairua Harbour. It offers barbecue facilities, laundry services, free on-site parking, free WiFi access, beach towels and shovels. Nicely laid and close to everything we did as well as a 3 minute walk to bakery if you wanted to grab easy food on the way to your activities. The room was very spacious and it was quiet.

Guests enjoy free parking and free unlimited WiFi throughout their stay. Huge rooms which were well kept, very clean and modern. Hosts were happy to accommodate us checking out very early on our leaving date.

Situated in a secluded tree-lined setting far from traffic noise, these chalets are ideal for discovering the Coromandel Peninsula's stunning coastline, beautiful beaches, and diverse arts and crafts. Beautiful room and apartment. Felt homey and unique but still very clean and private. Nice host. I wish we stayed here longer.

All of the spacious, refurbished rooms have a balcony and a private BBQ free parking on site. Was a nice breakfast, creative and filling, cold breakfast. service was outstanding from the hosts. they even said next time they will give more service, like extra facilities and very friendly people, highly recommend
