Clean, fine food, helpful stuff. What most impressed me is the fact that I have forgotten my cardholder in the hotel room. The same day from the hotel called me and arranged to send the cardholder to my new place in Arequipa. I would like to express gratitude to the honest stuff of the hotel! Thank you!

The room is cozy and not too cold (for Peruvian standards in winter). The host was incredibly kind, he helped us by keeping our backpacks all day long and with recommendations. The simply-furnished rooms at Pukara House include cable TV, a private bathroom and a safety deposit box. the place was really clean. you get a properly hot shower with nice towels. breakfast is nice with lots of fresh fruits. the staff was incredibly helpful and nice. we had to extend one day because of visa issues and that was no problem at all… they even let us use their computer and printer! cannot recommend enough.

Breakfast was excellent - a buffet with eggs, cheese, bread, fruit etc. All the staff were so kind and helpful. It was great to be able to store my luggage free of charge when I went on a 2 day tour. I also used the laundry service which was great. Highly recommend!

Taypikala Hotel Lago boasts recently refurbished Colonial style galleries and a spacious lobby with interior plants, polished parquet floors and elegant cream-coloured sofas. Had a really nice stay here. The staff were great. Not very busy when we were here. Good value. Great location.
