A beautiful “Palacete” from XVIII located just outside medieval stone wall, filled with antiques. We were greeted by Joao who welcomed us with a glass of ginjinha. Our room was located in the lower level overlooking the garden which has great views of the castle. Room was super spacious with a quaint reading corner. Bed was really comfy. Breakfast was very good, with an extensive spread with high quality products. I specially liked home made lemon curd done by Ana. Both Ana and Joao were very helpful in providing tips and advise on visiting the area. Will definitely recommend it.

Most rooms feature a private balcony, some with a view over the monastery. Facilities include an indoor heated pool and the property was renovated in early 2017. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Went out of their way to help. Good breakfast and a great location.

The bright rooms at the Hotel Moliceiro have a flat-screen TV and a tea/coffee maker. Some rooms are decorated with classical furnishings, while other rooms have a more modern touch. The location and their friendly helpful reception staff. He was very helpful to guide me to buy a parking pass online to park in the new underground carpark in front of hotel. Very comfy room that overlooks the busy streets and river. We also got good recommendations on where to have dinner. Breakfast buffet is a good spread to sample popular local desserts.
