Gasthaus Alte Post is located in the historic centre of Sighişoara, just 300 metres from the Clock Tower, and offers a restaurant serving local Transylvanian cuisine. Free WiFi access is available in all public areas. The breakfast was good and beautifully served. The place is just round the corner from the citadel so exploring was very easy.

Centrally located in Sighisoara, a 2-minute walk from the Mediaeval Citadel, Hotel Central Park houses the Restaurant & Wine bar with Romanian and international dishes, a summer garden and a lounge with a café. Location was perfect. There is free parking with plenty of space for your cars at the back in the inside courtyard. It has a Profi (grocery store) within a few meters of the hotel. There are plenty of other restaurants around the hotel and it is opposite a small park, great for small children to play in while you stay. You walk up the hill to the citadel, fairly steep on cobble stone roads, it takes about 5 minutes to walk up from the hotel to the top. The room was big and spacious, it has air conditioning, which was very beneficial on the warm days, and needed as the room can be stuffy at night. They have a mini fridge, modern bathroom which is spacious with strong water pressure and hot water. They have a buffet breakfast with varied options of eggs, (boiled, fried, scrambled, omelet) cold meets, bacon, vegetables, fruits and a tea and coffee machine.

Newly opened in 2014, Hotel Tempo is 200 metres from the Mures River and 1,500 metres from the centre of Targu Mures. It offers free WiFi and a restaurant serving international cuisine and traditional Romanian dishes. Comfortable, approachable by car, good parking.

Casa Lia is a guest house located in the centre of Sighisoara Fortress, right next to the Shoemakers Tower and just 200 metres from the Clock Tower. It offers basic accommodation with free WiFi access, a shared lounge and a terrace. A wonderful place to stay in a beautiful part of the world.  I can't fault my experience, beginning with the warm & generous welcome from my kind & thoughtful but unobtrusive hosts, for whom nothing was too much trouble.  The accommodation was clean, comfortable and well-equipped - I would thoroughly recommend staying at Casa Lia.

Situated in Sovata, 7 km from the ski slope and 200 metres from Ursu Lake, Vila Silvia features free WiFi, free access to a sauna and a fitness centre, as well as a large yard with a barbecue and an outdoor terrace. A very very beautiful hotel with a great atmosphere and the perfect location. The host, Daniella was so kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and with a huge variety for a small hotel 🤗

The location, staff and breakfasts were excellent

It's in an amazing location and there were several unexpected bonuses like cake on arrival.

Hassle-free parking (pre-registered license plate). Breakfast is exceptional, with local food selections. Spacious and spotless room with amazing balcony and view. Location also very good: close to the lake and to the center. We also tried the dinner (ala carte) and that was also great, good selection of wine and food.
