Situated on the best beach in Koh Mak, the views are always breathtaking. I’m a huge fan of the toiletries provided and the cleaning staff is phenomenal. The bar staff are so nice and friendly, mixing up some pretty potent drinks for Happy Hour. The most delicious welcome drinks upon checking in and our room was available right away which was amazing! Check in staff were above and beyond the friendliest. We rented scooters from the hotel at 300baht and also did a massage at the resort. They also organized our boat tickets to Koh Chang while we were exploring the island. Everything was absolutely fantastic. There is no negative aspect for this hotel. We already booked for next year because it’s literally our favourite hotel in all of Thailand. Period.

Rooms at Kacha Resort feature a private terrace with garden views. Each has a cable TV, minibar and safety deposit box. The complex was very well planed out, sign posted and easy to find everything. Breakfast dining room couldn’t be situated in a more desirable place which is right on the beach 😃

The Du Talay is a small family run hotel with 21 cosy rooms under Thai/German management. 4 years ago it was fully renovated.

The rooms are very well equiped. You find a safe, a big wardrobe, a desk, a fridge, a big mirror and a comfy double or twin – beds. You have the possibility to cook tea or coffee. Drinking water is provided every day. Overall excellent experience Perfect for our needs

(Hillside) only 5 minutes walk to breakfast 🍳 Rooms are big and clean, breakfast is huge! Last year we stayed another hotel on koh chang (5*) higher price but i will come back to Awa resort every time when i will stay in koh chang. Staff is friendly and smiling, also the clean womens..

Very good localisation close to the beach with a taxi stop nearby and scooters.
