Tea and mineral water could be purchased sitting in the courtyard. Very close to main street, a few restaurants and the street where leather shoes, copper, etc is sold. So interesting. A taxi stand is close by. It is 20 minutes by taxi to the main bus station. A small menu offering more e.g. Cola and chips was made to the staff as a suggestion.

After climbing so many steps and looking for a hotel in narrow streets, we have found a gem, with amazing Mezopotamia views, elegant doves, large rooms, very friendly and helful owner. That were our first bathrooms in Turkey, where the sinks didnt badly stink. We even spent one night under the night sky on the big outside beds - beautiful experience.

I loved everything about this property. The house itself has a very interesting history, don’t miss the antique pictures hanging in the basement space that show what the area used to look like. I wish I could give 20 stars. The rooms was clean, comfortable, had AC, and basic toiletries. The views from the terraces were amazing. The host was incredibly gracious. The breakfast was amazing and fresh everyday. The coffee!! This property is right in the heart of the historical district. Within walking distance to pool or Abraham, bazaars, archeology museum, and necropolis. There is a car park very close although we found street parking no problem. The host also recommended a nearby Sark Kebab restaurant which had the best adanan kebab we had during our entire trip. I wish we could have stayed here longer. Would recommend!
