Amazing experience! Friendly hosts, tasty breakfast (tried fruit bowl and pancakes - both delicious). The property is nicely decorated, we enjoyed the view over the bay.

From interior design to handmade breakfast - in every little detail you could feel the love and passion it takes to be the perfect guest house hosts. Boutique hotel decorated beautifully throughout. Bedrooms were well appointed with lovely bedding and soft furnishings. Nice bar area and a comfortable residents lounge. Lots of lovely coffee table books scattered about. Nice pool area although we didn’t use it due to the weather. Fantastic food in the restaurant!

Hout & About is a beautifully designed guest house with excellent service. The breakfast was just delicious with a stunning view from the terrace. The owners are absolutely lovely and make you feel at home! We can very much recommend to stay here!

The setting is stunning - you look over Hout Bay and across to Constantia. Throughout the carefully designed gardens there are lots of different places to sit -either in the sun or in the shade. Breakfast was beautifully presented and one of the very best we had during our stay in South Africa. The Deamhouse Team work together to ensure the guests are really well looked after, the attention to detail is excellent.
