We had a wonderful time at the property! It was the perfect place for our family (six adults). The kitchen was well stocked so we were able to enjoy breakfasts around the kitchen table and dinners on the well-appointed patio. An amenity we did not expect - there was an assortment of wines, beers, and other refreshments available for purchase which was especially nice on the evening of our arrival. On our second evening there was an issue with not having hot water - apparently the boiler was having technical difficulties. We emailed the owners at 22:30, and by 9:30 the next morning the technician had already been there to fix the issue. The owner's responsiveness was impressive which we so appreciated! The location is amazingly situated - about 25 minutes from Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau (just over the border in Germany) and only about 10 minutes from Ehrenberg castle, fortress, and ruins. Our time at the chalet was magical - thank you to the owners and our host Gerda!

The restaurant was amazing. Beautiful architecture, friendly staff, delicious food, and the most extensive and gourmet included breakfast I’ve ever seen.

The hotel was just wonderful. We were given a comfortable ground floor room with lots of space and a wonderful view of Neuschwanstein (so close!). It was so easy to hike up to the castle from our hotel. There was also lots of safe space for our kids to play right outside the room so it was perfect for us. There were restaurants within a short walk from the hotel and the included breakfast was also very good. Most of all, we had such a good experience with the very kind and helpful staff. When our daughter left her beloved teddy bear on the bus and we couldn't find any way to get it back, they went out of their way to retrieve it from the bus company office.

Hotel Tannenhof is nestled at the foot of stunning hills in Lechaschau, and yet is just a short walk from the center of Reutte. A rich and healthy breakfast is available every morning.

Location. Friendliness and helpfulness of the host, Peter. We arrived at the wrong timing as the weather was bad, and our original plan to visit Zugpitze was closed, but fortunately Peter suggested Highline179 so that we had something to do when we were in Fussen.

Located directly on the shore of Lake Heiterwang, a 15-minute drive from Reutte, Hotel Fischer am See offers a private beach and a restaurant with a covered terrace.

We loved the location. Couldn't have asked for better views and seclusion. The camp site close by afforded us fun camp fire singing at night. The staff was friendly and the food is top notch.
