The location of the hotel is excellent, the breakfast was also really good. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. The hotel plays with simplicity and practicality which I would say are their strengths: simple, easy to navigate, friendly, good food, good location, clean. So the hotel ticks all those boxes.

After trying several hotels in Rio de Janeiro, we can confidently say that Hotel Matiz has become our favorite. What truly made our experience special was the people who work there. The beds are great. The Bath room was clean. Great terrace. It was quiet. And they arranged a transfer from the airport for me.
