The place is lovely and the community around it too; I felt safer walking around there than Copacabana or Ipanema during rush hour. The hostess was super nice to me and I felt like being welcomed home. The bed was very comfortable and the common areas/bathroom also very clean.

O enjoyed staying até Tavares Hostel since the Very First begining, I was hostel by the lady owner she was Very kind Sweet warmful, we talked and drinks some beverages together after her husband arrived we jad a good time Aldo, we laughed a Lot and share good things! Very clean bedroom and bathroom. 24 hour reception was very convenient because we arrived late into Rio. Location is central and a short drive from the main beaches and the great nightlife area of Botafogo. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Excellent value for money.
