Amazing experience. I stayed here for three nights in a room for six. Hostel, surprisingly a large building, is located in old and peaceful part of Basel. It's within short walking distance to Rhein river, Munster cathedral and Kunstmuseum tram station. I was given Basel Card at the reception which granted me free access to public transport and 50% discount to all museums. I really liked my room and my bed and I didn't mind the fact there were no curtains. Design of the room is really smart, as personal lockers and sink are separated from the beds/sleeping area with a wooden doors, thus keeping the noise at minimum. To add up, no check-ins are possible after 23:30 which allows you to sleep tight. Toilets and washrooms are on the same floor, just outside of the room in the hall. Breakfast starts at 6.00 am which I found really handy as I checked out early for my flight. Staff was really professional. You can also buy souvenirs at the reception and umbrella as well. I will definitely book again when I come back to Basel. Thank you, Hostel!

Our family stay at this apartment in Basel city centre was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The apartment was spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean—perfect for families with kids. The open-plan living area provided plenty of space for the kids to play while the fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, which was a huge bonus for us. The bedrooms were comfortable and quiet, ensuring everyone had a good night’s sleep. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like extra blankets, board games, and even a high chair and crib for our little one. The location was unbeatable—right in the heart of the city with easy access to public transport, shops, and family-friendly attractions like the Basel Zoo and beautiful parks along the Rhine River. It was so convenient to explore the city without needing a car. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, providing great recommendations for family activities and dining spots. Check-in was seamless, and we really appreciated the flexibility with check-out. Overall, this apartment was the perfect home base for our family trip to Basel.
