We only stayed for one night, but it was a wonderful experience! The accommodation has a perfect location. The shadow play workshop was a real highlight – the artist passionately explained how he creates his performance, which was fascinating. What truly made our stay special were Misa and Tom. Without them, our experience would not have been nearly as good. They are absolutely indispensable – incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. Thanks to them, we felt truly welcome and cared for. We would definitely come back!

Convenient location with Hutong experience. The streets around the hotel is not too narrow but taxis are not willing to come to hotel unless we told them we have luggages. Usually we will alight from taxis near the train station and walk in. The walk towards the hotel was a nice experience looking at buildings and observing how people live among the Hutongs. Room service is excellent and clean. One of the chambermaid took care of my room mate (who can’t read Chinese) who become sick in the morning and helped her to order lunch. The lead receptionist whose name is Wang Quan Long helped my room mate to locate her missing jeans after laundry. A long stay guest accidentally took her jeans when he went out to collect his laundry.

The hotel stay was very nice for our family as we occupied three rooms. The continental breakfast was also a pleasant experience. Overall, the location is excellent, allowing for an easy walk to the Temple of Heaven.

The concierge was so helpful especially Aron who went out of his way to help us with anything we needed. All the bar lobby staff especially Cathy were so welcoming and helpful. The environment was beautiful and the spa and pool facilities were amazing. Check out was a breeze.
