- Extremely friendly and helpful staff who picked us up from the train station, carried luggages up and down the stairs, prepared full breakfast / afternoon tea / warm sweet soup for the evening, and even gave us some flower pancakes as a gift when we left. - Fantastic view of Erhai from the room and balcony. The hotel itself is not right next to the lake, but thanks to the heightened hill it’s situated on, there’s no blocked view. We watched the sunset from the room and it was beautiful. - The room is very well equipped with best facilities, e.g. Marshall speaker, fully automated smart toilet, projector, fridge, washing machine. - We came at the time of the year where the weather is good but it’s also not a popular season for domestic travellers. So the prices are very reasonable given the view, food and services provided.

Beautiful property with brand new and gorgeous interior. A very beautiful golden retriever who lives there too will keep you company always. Locals are so friendly and very close to everything you could need, yet still quiet. They helped me hire a great mountain bike and I rode 75km/145km of Erhai lake, definitely worth doing!

The reception staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and speak very good English which is rare even in bigger cities and more expensive hotels, so very unusual that both have excellent English. The reception staff alone make this hotel a solid choice if you don't speak Mandarin and will need help finding your way around or booking cabs, finding restaurants and other places.
