Very friendly and helpful hotel operators with lots of tips for hiking routes. Both Chinese and English is spoken. The hotel is located 30 meters from the main shopping street but still absolutely quiet. Clean rooms. It was a very pleasant stay. Baisha as one of the 3 old towns of Lijiang is the ideal starting point for hikes into the Yulong Mountains and yet not far from Lijiangs historical old town.

The room is the same as the pictures on the internet, the decoration style is enamored. All kinds of facilities are very beautifully decorated, health and supplies did not say, clean! People stay very assured. Although the B & B is located in the bustling part of the Ancient City, but also really do the noise in the quiet, sound insulation effect is very good, air conditioning cool and pleasant, I can sleep soundly all night. I will definitely choose this B & B again on my next visit. The boss is a warm and cheerful and love life of the big boy (super handsome! !! Super handsome! !! I appreciated the undisturbed rest, yet enjoyed easy access to food, coffee, attractions, and shopping. "Warm Hospitality" The owner and staff members were exceptionally warm, kind, and responsive to my needs. From arranging a private airport transfer to carrying my luggage to my room, they went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. "Comfortable and Charming Rooms" My Queen Room with Terrace was a serene oasis, complete with a charming outdoor pool and a secluded garden perfect for workouts or relaxation. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept more soundly than I have in months! "Amenities and Services" I appreciated the complimentary Chinese Tea Appreciation session, which was a lovely welcome ritual. The staff kept me connected via WeChat, responding promptly to my queries and requests all through my stay. "A Captivating Retreat" Sky Cloud Hotel is a true gem in Lijiang Ancient Town. With its unique blend of antiquated charm, modern comforts, and warm hospitality, it's the perfect haven for travelers seeking a peaceful and enriching experience. I'm already looking forward to my next stay!

Xisu Garden is great. The staff are exceptionally helpful and kind. They help us book tour to JDSM and ensure the trip is smooth with the operator. They even help to hold my 9month old baby while we were having breakfast. And we were given free room upgrade as well, which we highly appreciated

Amazing guesthouse, one of my favourite stays of all time. You can ask the hotel to book transportation or package to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, which is convient than you book by yourself. The entire staff were very friendly and accommodating, I will recommend my friend to come and stay there.

Came to Lijiang with work anxiety, but found inner peace on Xilu Saturday! The comfortable queen bed of this inn made me sleep the heaviest sleep in three years. When I left, the battery of my phone was still 70%, but my soul was charged to 200%!

I am very lucky to have booked the Lijing Gemmer hotel. The enthusiastic service makes me feel relaxed. The location and environment are good, and the room is also very satisfactory.

The room is very large, and the lady is very kind. The pick-up service provided is very considerate. The transportation is also very convenient, it's easy to take a taxi when going out, unlike living in an ancient city where getting out is very troublesome. The scenery of Lijiang is also very beautiful, and the lights in the ancient city are very beautiful at night. You must go there at night. The stunning view of Yulong Snow Mountain and Jinshan Ganhaizi is a must visit destination in Lijiang.

The hospitality and care for the wellness of their guests go beyond expectations and anything I have ever experienced in a hotel. From the first moment of walking through the doors and being greeted by May and HeiMi (the cat), I felt the warmness of stepping foot into Bivou-instantly, I was at a place that felt like home. Right when we stepped through the threshold, we were offered homemade bread (that I could still taste even now) and some delicious apple tea. The ayis (aunties) helped move our heavy luggage into the beautiful room, and spent time introducing the activities in the hotel, activities we could do around Lijiang, and different hikes that we could go on. Our room was so COMFORTABLE - high ceilings, spacious bathroom with a rain shower, clean and woodsy interior, and firm beds with warming mats. The welcome package included lotion, lip balm, and the most comprehensive maps of Lijiang, as well as a binder filled with activities to do. The activities weren't your typical "tourist" activities but they were incredibly curated, local gems like biking to Baishi village and going to see the Naxi orchestra (Nomi helped booked for us! Thank you!). The owner of Bivou is so fun and helpful - she gave us a map for Tiger Leaping Gorge and even helped us arrange a hotel on the trail! For a lot of my stay in Lijiang, I was sick (some food poisoning), but the ayis, especially May, kept me alive - not even exaggerating. They went out of their way to cook porridge for me, recommended and brewed red tea for my stomach ache, delivered homemade soup and dumplings up to the room, and changed the bed sheets at midnight for us. The Bivou cafe was the ONLY place I trusted to eat at because I wasn't feeling well. The food is so healthy, fresh, homecooked with love, and absolutely healing. Bivou is not your typical boutique hotel, not the Banyan, nor the Four Seasons.
