The staff was so friendly and hospitable, he even invited us for a BBQ with his friends and we had such a wonderful evening! He also brought our suitcases upstairs to our room and cut some watermelon for us, when we arrived. The room was very cosy and clean and had all the facilties you need. It’s located in a very beautiful neighbourhood, which is very calm and cosy at night! We had a lovely view of the mountains from our window. You can ask him anything you need and he arrange it for you, like a beautiful private tour with a English speaking driver to the Longji Rice Terraces, fixing the tandem bike to a perfect hight, so we could cycle in the city, and a taxi to our train. Even though he could speak English very well, we could communicate very well via translate!

David and his wife are great people always willing to help, very friendly and always giving the best advice about the places to visit around. We stayed for 2 nights and David helped me to organise all for the 1 day cruise trip through the Li river as well as the breakfast to go, which I highly recommend!! His wife makes the best dumplings ever! They also offer American breakfast if you want and good coffee. They have a small but nice terrace with river view and 4 lovely cats 😻 also they have an Indian restaurant. The hotel is well located.

Wow! The staff here is very friendly. She loved telling us about all the best local spots. You can really feel the warmth of her service. On our first night there, we didn't want to go out because we were tired after a long day of travel so the staff showed us a demonstration of pouring Chinese tea using the artistic tea set they have. She also gave us some local Chinese desserts so that we could enjoy a quiet night drinking tea and chatting. A very personal experience.

The owners were incredibly helpful and spoke great English. It's in a good location, on bus routes to the city centre and one of the train stations. I would definitely stay there again if/when I return to Guilin.

Very nice hotel, very large and comfortable room, free use of washer and dryer. Abundant and varied breakfast. Very friendly staff, especially Ryan, who helped us book the Li River cruise. We asked reception to bring something to our room and a robot delivered it to us! 😊
