I booked a room with a sea view and balcony and the room was lovely. Upon arrival, the owner David offered me tea and brought a tray up to my room to have on the balcony which was such a nice touch. His hospitality has got to be one of the best I've had since going to Babacome quite a few times and I will definitely go back. The property is in a prime location with plenty of parking in the car park behind and with a cafe right next door plus other cafes and restaurants within walking distance. I thoroughly recommend Headland View to anyone.

Although the hotel is small it packed in everything we wanted. It’s location is ideal as it looks on to the downs looking out to sea. It had all the amenities we required. The bedroom and bathroom were fully equipped and beautifully clean. Our host Cheryl looked after us incredibly well. (Paul was incapacitated so we didn’t meet him) Breakfast was made to order and cooked beautifully. We found this better than the self service in the larger hotels. There was even a little teat (homemade cake) left in our room for us when we arrived back late afternoon. Our every need was met by Cheryl. Thank you Cheryl (and Paul) for making our stay comfortable and memorable! If you don’t want a large, impersonal hotel, we highly recommend this accommodation.

A lovely apartment for the 7 of us who stayed there, all had plenty of room although as it says in the advert the single room is ideal for a child. Fantastic views off the balcony and a very well equipped kitchen.

Babbacombe Palms in Torquay provides accommodations with a bar and a shared lounge. With free Wifi, this 4-star guest house has water sports facilities and a tennis court.

We turned up earlier but our host (lynne) did not mind at all. I thought it was all very cosy from the breakfast room to the bar and then the bedroom. One good thing was the breakfast tick list. Basically, you pre-order your brekkie and time slot and.... tah dah. Our room was very clean and thank god there were biccies to go with the tea in the morning.

Located on Babbacombe Downs, The Babbacombe Hotel offers a terrace and views overlooking Lyme Bay. The South West Coastal Path can be reached within a 10-minute walk.

This stay was amazing. The hosts are just wonderful and could not have done anymore to make our stay better. We loved the little town also. The rooms are wonderful and the whole place is so beautifully done. All of us loved it!

It's right at Babbacombe beach within easy walking distance of convenience stores, a laundrette, the railway down to the beach proper, bus services. I didn't have a vehicle so using public transport was important. Room has a mini fridge and a lovely covered balcony/veranda for watching the sun rise. Large room, nice bathroom.

Quiet and peaceful place to rest.Very affordable for retired budget conscious folks.Food is served every morning and evening for a fee in a buffet style.Pretty much all you can eat.One can always go to a nearby Tesco the day before for food hunting.
