Housed in a former Soviet-era publishing house, Stamba retains its industrial aesthetic while creating a sophisticated, welcoming space. From its greenhouse-inspired atrium to reclaimed vintage pieces, it’s a hotel where guests can explore the expansive setting.
For me, it’s always a pleasure to step into my room where the brass tub is either centered inside or outside the balcony, pending the room. Some quirks depend on the suite, but they offer: La Marzocco espresso machine, vinyl record player, and unique artworks. There’s also the sheer shelves of books that invite perusal. It’s a wonder any guests ever leave their rooms.
Whenever I drop by Tbilisi, it’s Stamba where I choose to stay. I’m sure there are other wonderful hotels, resorts, and BnBs, but Stamba feels extra special.

The location was fantastic . Walking distance to carrefour supermarket orbeliani square right behind and stones throw to liberty square. Nice walk to shavteli street l, rustaveli ave bridge of peace. We stayed in the family room with balcony on 3rd floor and it was huge.

An excellent hotel to stay in old Tbilisi, clean, near to the center and I can’t avoid mention about stuff especially those who stay in my heart : Mari, Lika, and Nika who is from reception and Lesba (I know I didn’t write his name right, I’m sorry) who is the bell boy. All of them Was super helpful, and kind!

We felt like miljonairs here. Such a luxurious and spacious place. Enormous balcony. I thought that booking made a mistake because of the low price. We will book it 100% again when we will visit Tbilisi again.

Staying at Sota Metekhi Hotel was an amazing experience in itself! It was my first visit to Georgia, and the hotel, located in the real heart of Tbilisi Old city, next to the Kura river, made a great impact onto my first impression from the country.
