We were very happy with our apartment which is situated a few meters and a few stairs away from the Monemvasia main gate (please note that you have to carry your suitcases or backpacks because of the cobble stones). The apartment is nicely furnished, offers a great view on the ocean from the windows (+ from the bed :)) and also has amenities like a coffee machine & coffee tabs. The owners have a store downstairs where you can get the keys and buy their local products like olive oil, wine or skin care. We had some problems with noise from the opposite bar one night because they tend to play loud music on Saturdays and the hosts did all they can to make up for it, even though it was not their fault and we really appreciated it. In terms of hospitality, these were one of the nicest hosts we have met so far.

Location! There was coffee, tea, croissants, juice, fruit, and cold water as compliments. Amazingly easy check-in and check-out procedure. Comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom. Really great! Just for thoroughness I have to say that there’s no TV in the room and poor mobile coverage which for us was in fact an amazing plus!
